ABOUT BELLA
Hi, I’m Belma Vardar Kumar—but most people call me Bella. I’m an award-winning portrait photographer based in the UK, known for using light, colour, and emotion to tell real, powerful stories through imagery.
I started out with a background in both fashion and photography, and over the years I’ve had the chance to train with top photographers connected to global names like Chanel and Tom Ford. My journey has taken me from photographing TV presenters, stylists, and designers to welcoming Olympic athletes, actors, and creatives into my studio. My work has appeared on ITV, Channel 4, and in international fashion and photography magazines—but at the heart of it all, I just love helping people shine in front of the camera.
That passion for creativity and growth is what led me to start Style Academy—a place where photography, fashion, and learning come together. We run hands-on workshops, practical training, and offer mentoring for anyone who wants to develop their skills, grow their confidence, or even launch a creative career. I work alongside brilliant industry professionals to make sure our sessions are not only inspiring, but also full of real-world value.
When I’m not behind the camera or in the classroom, I love putting my skills to work for charities and community projects, helping initiatives that make a real difference and bring people together.
